Mailing statistics
After sending, the report shows how many e-mails arrived, were opened and bounced, and which links people clicked.
- Open the mailing in the admin.
- At the top right, click Show Report. You can also use the link in the e-mail you got after sending.
- You see a chart and the Mailing Statistics table. Each row shows the number and the percentage of the e-mails sent.
- Click a row to see which users it is about.
- Click Hide Report to go back to the mailing.
What do the rows mean?
- sent e-mails: number of e-mails sent.
- error e-mails: e-mails that could not be sent, for example because of a wrong e-mail address.
- read e-mails: number of recipients who opened the e-mail. This is only measured if the Web beacon option was on for the mailing.
- link clicks: number of recipients who clicked a link, with the number of clicks per link below it. Only measured with the Click Tracking option.
- bounced e-mails: e-mails that came back, for example because the mailbox does not exist or is full. Click the reason to read the error message.
- unsubscribes: recipients who unsubscribed through this mailing.
An opened e-mail is not always counted. Many e-mail programs only show images when the reader chooses to. So the real number of readers is usually higher.
Making a new group from the recipients
Below the table is the button Add these … users to group …. Use it, for example, to put everyone who clicked a link in a group of their own. Later you can send that group a follow-up mailing.
Deleting statistics
With Delete Statistics you erase all figures of this mailing, after the question Are you sure you want to delete all statistics of this mailing?. This cannot be undone.
